Block 60 – BG Oman

Block 60 – BG Oman/JP Kenny (Gas/Condensate, Oman)

The Block 60 field consists of a total of 55 wells and is currently planned to be developed with multiple onshore infield flowlines, which will collect flow from each of the producing wells. Then it will be tied into two bulk trunklines that will transport production to a Central Processing Facility.

The Block 60 pre-FEED flow assurance study was completed to provide the following information: :

• Steady state hydraulic analysis for the recommendation of flowline sizes
• Steady state hydraulic analysis for the recommendation of trunkline sizes, numbers and tie-in locations and general trunkline thermal hydraulic performance
• Transient multiphase flow simulations for the recommendation of a slugcatcher surge volume as input into the slugcatcher design
