Deepwater Indonesia (Gendalo/Gehem/Ranggas) – Unocal & Chevron (Oil/Gas, Indonesia)

Chevron (ex-Unocal) has several deepwater assets, located in the East Kalimantan Basin, offshore Indonesia. Aside from being highly delineated reservoirs, the fluid properties of the fields vary from benign gas to paraffinic oils.

MSi Kenny has been involved in various facets of the Indonesia projects since their inceptions. MSi Kenny performed an extensive parametric study on pre-FEED and gas export for the Gendalo field to screen possible development options for a long-distance gas/condensate pipeline. MSi Kenny considered multiple variables in an attempt to define potential operating regimes for both a subsea production line and a gas export line.
